I have been pondering over why this top cop; ‘commander’ pete thurtell from the mid north coast district of NSW has been so reluctant to hear any evidence of horrific child abuse in his district under his watch.
Well, over many months there has been a lot of letters, emails and faxes sent to this top cop by both myself and my full time carer, as concerned citizens wanting to help this top cop with the neglected area of police trying to help child abuse victims.
I have been scratching my head wondering why this top cop does not want any information.
Please read the excerpts from the following article, in which thurtell says;
Policing is an occupation that requires an ability to exercise discretion in enforcing the law. I don’t subscribe to a zero-tolerance approach – because officers must retain the ability to determine how vigorously they respond to particular situations. But in saying that: violence towards my officers or vulnerable members of the community won’t be tolerated.
What was that? Violence towards vulnerable members of the community won’t be tolerated?
Well now I’m really at a loss; my full time carer that has been attacked in this top cop’s large district is severely physically disabled, permanent spine injury and has leukaemia. What, is he not vulnerable enough?
For any readers who haven’t read the history of this top cop, what happened was my full time carer Mr Michael Mathews was attacked and this so called commander was supposed to send out one of his constables. Well this did not happen, so with a 3rd witness we all go to the police station to make a statement of this attack, we get refused to make a statement. Then 41 days after my carer was attacked this top cop sends out his little boys in blue to arrest my carer for assaulting the man Bob McKay who attacked him. Sorry I forgot the woman cop, pardon lovey.
Pardon me, I don’t have the law degree, or the over 25 years of this top cop’s experience, but I do smell a rotten fish here.
thurtell goes on to say:
What I like most about my present role is the variety of challenges. I least like ignorance of the good work police do. Some people think police are responsible for controlling all crime – but that’s an impossible task without community help. I’d like to see more of the community take an interest in local issues, particularly in how they can contribute to reducing crime.
Well mr top cop, I’m not some of the people who think only the police are responsible for controlling all crime, I have on several occasions now offered you help about the child abuse networks going under your own nose, but you refuse to speak with not only myself but other concerned citizens.
But wait, there’s more! thurtell also says:
My only personal ambition right now is to do a good job as commander here.
I seriously don’t know how this ‘commander ‘can do a good job when he refuses to take statements from victims, hear any evidence from victims of child abuse, child ritual abuse, child satanic ritual abuse and their carers, advocates, and in general any other interested parties who want to see children safe in this district.
But it’s all okay! Because thurtell reassures us that:
A particularly memorable moment in my life occurred in the mid-1990s. I was called on as a police negotiator to negotiate with a man standing at the edge of The Gap in Sydney, intending to take his own life. He’d been sexually abused as a child. After I’d spoken to him over many hours he moved back from the edge – and rushed at me. I feared he was going to try and take me over the edge with him … but in the end he hugged me and was crying uncontrollably. It’s memories like these that tend to dominate the less pleasant times and incidents.

I have to now say when this whole article is read, I’m astounded by the fantastic top cop we have in this district of cultural acceptance of child abuse, so of course I had to go and look at this fascinating top cop a bit more.
Wow, this is a great example of the “picture saying a thousand words” please read the below article all about the importance of this demonic pornographic painting that was rescued by ‘commander’ pete thurtell.

Painting returns to walls
A controversial Norman Lindsay painting which was seized by police forty years ago, will be presented to Manning Regional Art Gallery today.
An authentic Norman Lindsay oil painting titled ‘Woman and Satyr’ will be given to the community of Greater Taree for a period of 12 months.
After the re-discovery of the painting in 2010, the NSW Police Force established Operation Matisse – a search to try to locate the owner of the artwork.
To date the owner remains a mystery.
Manning Great Lakes Local Area Commander, Superintendent Peter Thurtell, said the painting was most likely seized by police decades ago.
“I suspect that it was seized as the proceeds of crime in the 1970s and it’s good to see that on this occasion the community can benefit from the proceeds of crime by experiencing an historic painting they mightn’t have otherwise seen,” he said.
The painting will be showcased during the Manning Art Prize, themed Naked and Nude which runs from 28 September to 10 November at Manning Regional Gallery.

In 2010 the NSW police force established “operation matisse”, now that’s a much catchier new headline than say; the NSW police force established “operation paedophile networks catch”.
But with all joking aside, I finally see why this top cop can’t keep up with his normal policing work, he’s too busy rescuing awful artwork, hugging victims of childhood abuse, actively engaging with the whole community to stamp out crime, and of course smiling for the camera. Amongst his very busy life with normal activities, family man, head boss etc.
I must remind myself to stop asking this top cop to hear evidence; sadly I have been pushing this extremely busy ‘commander’ to the point that he of course doesn’t even have the valuable time to answer me.
The only time he has found has been to falsely charge an innocent disabled man, my carer who has helped many victims of crime, including escapees of satanic ritual abuse.
